Description
Job Purpose;
Responsible to manage all commodities in the store and ensure proper storage.
Key Responsibilities
• Management and safe custody of company asset, i.e. serve as custodian of all purchased goods for production and keep control of the same.
• Receive production goods from approved suppliers.
• Daily preparation and issue of production goods to authorized individuals or company upon receipt of written instructions to do so.
• Verification of physical Stocks on daily, weekly and monthly basis and prepare report for that.
• Prepare and provide reports to Finance Manager in terms of stock issued the issue, receipt and actual stock balances on daily basis.
• Monitoring of stock movement and suggest for slow moving and obsolete items.
• Ensuring the filling of all the relative supporting documents e.g. receipts
• Ensure physical security of all SDS stocks on hand.
• Backup responsible for the functions position assigned in case of absence.
• Other tasks assigned regarding the position.
Required Skills / Qualifications:
• 1+ years’ experience in supply chain/ store management
• In-depth knowledge of store keeping and arrangement.
• Diploma or Advanced Diploma in procurement & supply chain management is a must have or equilvalent.
